Joining is easy. Figuring out where to start is usually the harder part.

At Wy’East, you can keep it simple with a short regional hop, fly one of the core West Coast routes, or move into something longer once you are ready. Here are a few of the best places to start.

Start Simple

Portland to Eugene

KPDX – KEUG Aircraft: CRJ700

A very easy first flight. Short, familiar, and simple to fit into any session.

Portland to Redmond

KPDX – KRDM Aircraft: CRJ700

Another good early route. Quick to fly, but with a little more character.

Spokane to Salt Lake City

KGEG – KSLC Aircraft: CRJ700

A solid next step once you want a bit more time in the air.

Core Routes

Portland to Seattle

KPDX – KSEA Aircraft: 737-800 or A320

One of the best first mainline flights in the network. Short, familiar, and easy to fly.

Portland to San Diego

KPDX – KSAN Aircraft: 737-800 or A320

A great first longer leg. Long enough to settle in, but still easy to do in one sitting.

San Diego to Seattle

KSAN – KSEA Aircraft: 737-800 or A320

A strong West Coast route with a busier gate-to-gate feel.

Next Step Routes

Portland to Boise

KPDX – KBOI Aircraft: CRJ700 or 737-800

A flexible route that works well if you want to branch out a bit.

Portland to Phoenix

KPDX – KPHX Aircraft: 737-800 or A320

A natural next step once you are comfortable with shorter flying.

San Diego to Chicago O’Hare

KSAN – KORD Aircraft: A320

A good first longer narrowbody flight without jumping straight into a transcon marathon.

Longer Reach

Wy'East Airlines A321 landing in Lisbon on a sunny day

Philadelphia to Lisbon

KPHL – LPPT Aircraft: A321neo

A standout transatlantic route and a good example of how far the network reaches once you are ready for more.

Denver to Keflavík

KDEN – BIKF Aircraft: A321neo

One of the more distinctive routes in the network and a great step into longer adventure flying.

Philadelphia to Dublin

KPHL – EIDW Aircraft: A321neo

Another strong long-range option that feels ambitious without jumping all the way to widebody flying.

Philadelphia to London Heathrow

KPHL – EGLL Aircraft: A330-200

A flagship long-haul route for when you want something bigger.

Where to Begin

If you are new to Wy’East, the easiest approach is to start with a short regional flight or an easy West Coast mainline leg, then branch out as you get more comfortable with the network.

You might begin with Portland to Eugene, Portland to Redmond, or Portland to Seattle, then move into routes like Portland to San Diego or San Diego to Chicago once you want a little more range. From there, there is plenty to grow into, from longer domestic flying to transatlantic routes like Denver to Keflavík or Philadelphia to Lisbon.

There is no set path through the network. The best way to start is to pick a route that fits the kind of flying you want to do and build from there.
